The presence of sufficient bone volume is an ideal prerequisite for dental implant placement. Conditions where there is bone loss may be rectified by guided bone regeneration (GBR) to augment edentulous ridges. Bone grafts, when combined with platelet-rich plasma (PRP), can speed up the regeneration of bone qualitatively. In this present case report, the authors highlight the simultaneous use of GBR and PRP along with titanium mesh to achieve good maxillary ridge augmentation both clinically and radiographically with good healing of hard and soft tissue. The average bone gain noticed was 3 mm ridge horizontally and 3.5 mm ridge vertically, achieving an excellent final esthetic outcome of the implant-supported restoration.
